Policies

Payment Policies

  • post-dated cheques due the 1st of each month per semester (September - December and January - June, and July-August.)

  • or, EMT will be required the 1st of every month before the first session of the month

  • a non-refundable deposit equivalent of 1 session is due at the time of booking to hold your time slot in the form of EMT. This payment counts as your first session paid when sessions begin. Failure to do so could result in your time slot being passed on to another student.

Extra Materials

  • if extra materials are required, the cost will be billed to the student/parent of the student

Late and Missed Sessions Policies

  • a minimum notice of 2 hours must be given before a missed session

  • a refund will not be given for a session that was missed without notice of at least 2 hours

  • no-shows will not be refunded

  • a refund will not be given for anyone arriving late for a session

  • time will not be added to a session to make up lost time

  • if you have notified me to cancel a session due to illness, a make-up session will be scheduled or the pre-paid session will roll into the next month

  • if the teacher needs to cancel a session, I will notify the student as soon as possible.

  • at least 1 week notice must be given for termination of services by either party

  • other situations will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the teacher

Please note:

*All parents/guardians are required to sign

the Policy Agreement at the first session.
