My name is Jessica, but my students call me Mrs. Jess.

I earned my teaching degree at the University of Alberta in Elementary Education with a German minor.  Teaching children is my passion.  I enjoy their eagerness to discover and learn, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing them start to believe in themselves and succeed.

I have public school teaching experience for all ages and grades.  I also have had the opportunity to work with many different abilities and levels of learners.  I have also learned a lot from home-schooling my own children.

I am going into my eighth year as a private tutor. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to do what I love while helping someone become confident in something they have struggled in.
